SmartConnect IIoT — Industrial Machine Connectivity Software

SmartConnect IIoT is industrial machine connectivity and data collection software. It connects CNC machines, PLCs and industrial controllers, collects the machine data you configure, and makes that data available to MES, SCADA, dashboards, analytics and other Industry 4.0 applications through standard industrial interfaces.

What SmartConnect is

SmartConnect is the connectivity and data layer between your machines and your software. Rather than building a custom connection for every machine and every application, you connect machines to SmartConnect once. SmartConnect then exposes that data through OPC UA, MTConnect and MQTT so every application above it reads machine data the same, consistent way.

It is deliberately focused. SmartConnect does not replace your MES, ERP, SCADA, OEE or analytics platforms — it provides the reliable machine data those systems depend on.

The problem it solves

Manufacturing machines already generate valuable information — status, production counts, alarms, operating parameters, cycle information and program details. The difficulty is that different CNC controllers, PLCs and industrial machines expose that data through different communication methods.

This usually forces teams to write custom software for each machine or controller and maintain fragile point-to-point integrations. SmartConnect replaces that with one common connectivity and data layer.

Machine connectivity

SmartConnect connects the equipment that runs your production, with a current focus on CNC machine connectivity and data collection. PLCs and other industrial controllers extend the same data layer across mixed equipment.

Machine data collection

Configure the data points you need and SmartConnect collects them from the controller: machine status, running and stopped condition, production and cycle counts, alarms, operating information, machine parameters and active program information.
